I am in love with Swam Trumpet. So tweakable and expressive Thank you Audio Modeling! Looking forward for iOS versions of my beloved Swam instruments. I played it today in online jam session via ninjam using my AE10 windcontroller on and it was so much fun. Here is a snippet for you from the jam session: https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/0O6-OYnDlGhQnupT5Ik00JvLQ#Car
gents any tips on how to setup a good sounding mellow solo FHorn sound? My going sound would be like example #4 on this website, which is like my sample library would sound like as well. https://www.samplemodeling.com/en/demos_horntuba.php I have no idea why SWAM is sounding so different here
I used the SWAM violin, viola, flute, piccolo flute and bassoon in this short folk composition. Harp and percussion is from East West. Recording the music felt like performing on real instruments with all the controls and no sample limitations. Everything was performed with TEControl BBC2, the CC data was edited to correct errors.
Thank you Swam team for your amazing work on Swam brass and all my favourite swam instruments. A feature that I recommend to add to SWAM UX and possibly Camelot (haven’t tested or used yet Camelot) is the ability to have small lock\unlock button near any setting group, so when I change a preset I can choose if that group settings are persistent or change based on what was saved in the facto
Hi @admin, you've done a pretty good job with SWAM Brass...these instruments are quite playable. However, there's still a minimum "Note-On value" issue that affects wind controller players like me i.e. most wind controllers don't create a Note-On event until a value of approx. 7 or 8 but because SWAM instruments respond to Note-On events all the way down to 0, wind controller players experience
I've been having a tough time trying to figure out which controller to get.
I already have a seaboard block which I enjoy a lot and works well for the most part, but I do find that it is difficult to extract the tonal control like bow pressure and position while performing the part into the DAW.
I though I'd get the community vote on what the best choices are and what the
Hi Team! As far as I see the local on/off switch is global. Why don't assign it to scenes? I have some songs where I use Camelot only for sound- switching, others where I redirect the keybord to a sound source.
I have just purchased the Audio Modeling bundle and have successfully installed and used the Trumpet, Trombone etc. in Logic 10.4.8 on a Mac, but I can't see the Strings, Woodwinds and Saxophones. What am i doing incorrectly? I don't know how and where to call up the SWAM engine. Can anyone help?
I have recorded a version of a piece composed by Gabriel Fauré ; Pavane opus 50. I was really inspired to try this after getting myself Audio Modeling's Solo strings. I record each voice with a MIDI Breath Controller (TEControl.se), connected to my keyboard (Yamaha Montage eight) and to my DAW Logic Pro X.
I have the full version of Camelot 1.0.7 3628 running on a windows 10 laptop
The software has automatically picked up that I have a MODX (which is not currently plugged in) however even though I have provided the path for my install of Native Instruments, the VST's are not showing in the Plugin Manager.
For reference, these are not on the C partition but on the D PArtition of
When using a breath controller I'd like to have the bow direction switch between breaths. So when the controller value drops to zero we'd get a bow change. I realize there is a keyswitch for bow direction change but would like the option to use "through zero" as an articulation trigger.
Having a bit of free time over the holidays I thought I'd put SWAM strings through their paces on some material from the wonderful Danish String Quartet's arrangements of folk tunes.
This one is called "Sterrand's Rand" and it's a lot of fun. It shows off a few of the outstanding SWAM performance features, including continuous control of dynamics, various bowing styles, pizzicato, harmonics,
Hi. Very impressed with your instruments. Almost ready to pull the trigger, but first I need to know if the instruments and Camelot could be installed in my Mac mini as well as in my iPad. Thanks. Julian Fernández
