Hi guys. I've owned the SWAM w/winds for years but only recently have I been using the flutes quite intensively. I'm finding that there seems to be a higher breath threshold for starting/ending notes on the SWAM flutes compared to the SWAM strings. This might also be the case for the other SWAM w/winds but I haven't spent as much time with them recently.
Been having problems with audio drop out, glitches or crackle. I used LatencyMon to analyse and found some offending drivers. Made those adjustments and got all my drivers under 1ms. Most are under .5ms. The highest is NVIDDMKM.sys which is .598. I want to be sure I do this in the right order and properly. I'm upgrading my PC to Win 10 with a new appropriate MB, memory etc. I think the steps are 1. De-authorize The Saxophones 2. Build the PC. 3. install Win 10 4. re-install The Saxophones. Is this how it works?
It was few years ago when I did this demo... but still today listening to it I'm surprised for the flexibility of the SWAM Clarinet: designed for Jazz and Pop, it feels perfectly comfortable with serious Classical music. Amazing... do you agree?
It would be nice to have an option to purchase single woodwind-instruments, for exemple only the oboe instead of the four double reeds as a package. Within the strings you may buy a violin, a cello, why not giving this option within the woodwind-family?
