Solo Strings
The SWAM-S Cello solo phrasing and articulations

I had a bit of fun with this Video a couple of years ago, but I think there's an interesting point to share and discuss about it:

Looking to the hands, the bow, the strings, while editing my sequence, was incredibly useful to take decisions about the articulations and parameters, like vibrato rate and intensity, bow pressure and attack, portamentos etc.

What's nice in the SWAM-S engine is of course the opportunity to replicate some real life gestures, and this exercise was incredibly educational for me: I recommend it to all the people interested in understanding the instrument and improving performance or SWAM-S programming skills.

Perfect !
The original recording is here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qrKjywjo7Q

I am not en expert at all in classical music. Hence I dare to say that I like the recording with the SWAM Cello better. You could add some of the player's breathing noises for even more realism smile .

When first listening I did not like the Piano sound, but I liked the original recording's even worse...
