Solo Strings
Attack not working? BowNoise and Rosin feature request.

Attack
If I have expression on low level from 0 - 10 theere is some attack, even on Dynamic envelope on GUI screen show there is some attack, but if expression is more higher, then less attack is. That means if expression is above 40, there is no attack. Of course, there is some attack but it not act like on lower level expression.

To be more clear what I am talking about, for example SWAM Flute when I hit note with strong velocity, the attack is same strong, that means if velocity is 127 (midi) then attack for Flute is forte fortissimo or full expression and it goes back to the expression level. Strings are not so "dynamic" with note velocity.

Raising Accent to 1 doesn't help.

Rosin
When I change rosin values, the difference between 0 and 1 are nearly nothing. (I think I dont hear any difference) I am not string player, that maybe I don't undertand this option, I look at internet what that means, but I don't know what to expect to change this settings.

BowNoise
If I change value, the differences are very very light. Differences can be hear when Rosin is on 1. If Rosin is on 0 then diference can be heard only when string are playing harmonics.

It would be great, if values will be extended to higher values? For experimentation and make BowNoises more "visible" to ear. For example, it will be as it is, but allow set value more then 1. Above 1 value it will be much stronger and more obvious to ear. That will be applied for all settings (Strings and bow characteristics as manual said).

Hi @Elrond !
In Solo Strings velocity controls the Bow Pressure accent, not the Bow Speed (which is more responsible for the dynamics). Since Bowed Strings have many more “dimensions” of control, we had to take a decision on what variable should be controlled by each control “source”.

As for parameters ranges: we chosen the most realistic ranges, greater ranges could create some weird effects on the sound, if not managed properly.
Take also in account that some effect is more audible with certain “Instrument”, or depend on other parameters (e.g. Bow Pressure).

Best!
