This is my first post, in this and any music related community. I, first of all, wanted to say that I have just bought both the Solo Woodwinds and Solo Strings bundles, and I am absolutely in love with these instruments! I got my introduction to SWAM instruments via the Roli Noise app for iOS, and as soon as I realized that these were available for
Can anyone help me get started with editing the articulations / expressions of midi events within the piano roll of Logic Pro X? How does one fine-tune glissandos, portamentos, vibratos, etc., of individual midi events and pairs of events??
I can secondary-click a midi event to access the articulation selection, but there are 255 nameless articulations in there, and I can't tel
Hello! I'm using SWAM strings with Seaboard Rise 49 in Cubase Pro 10. I want to play with several instances of SWAM strings simulatenously (to play polyphonic chords, each note on separate instance of SWAM - ensemble playing) Ok, let's say, I created 4 instrumental tracks with SWAM instrument on each, end set midi options of each track to receive data from single channels (from 1 to 4). I
Hi, All. I'm a new user of both strings and woodwinds, and am really enjoying with the TEC Breath and Bite Controller 2 (also tilt and nod, so live control of 4 midi parameters at once). Does anyone has favorite "recipes" for live control of the various instruments?
I don't know where to add it, maybe one special topic for Feature Requests.
What about some SWAM player for all SWAM instruments? Something like Vienna Ensemble, where user can stack all (purchased) swam instruments in one place and build own ensemble setup. For example I want write composition for string quarteto, I load in swam player 2x violins, 1x viola and 1x Cello, load my pressets
Been having problems with audio drop out, glitches or crackle. I used LatencyMon to analyse and found some offending drivers. Made those adjustments and got all my drivers under 1ms. Most are under .5ms. The highest is NVIDDMKM.sys which is .598. LatencyMon reports my system is capable of handling real time audio however, when I play my Synthophone using Audio Modelings Saxophones i still get dr
I want to be sure I do this in the right order and properly. I'm upgrading my PC to Win 10 with a new appropriate MB, memory etc. I think the steps are 1. De-authorize The Saxophones 2. Build the PC. 3. install Win 10 4. re-install The Saxophones. Is this how it works?
I had a bit of fun with this Video a couple of years ago, but I think there's an interesting point to share and discuss about it:
Looking to the hands, the bow, the strings, while editing my sequence, was incredibly useful to take decisions about the articulations and parameters, like vibrato rate and intensity, bow pressure and attack, por
It was few years ago when I did this demo... but still today listening to it I'm surprised for the flexibility of the SWAM Clarinet: designed for Jazz and Pop, it feels perfectly comfortable with serious Classical music. Amazing... do you agree?
It would be nice to have an option to purchase single woodwind-instruments, for exemple only the oboe instead of the four double reeds as a package. Within the strings you may buy a violin, a cello, why not giving this option within the woodwind-family?
It's me Kyle Judkins, some of you might know me from other forums, and I've definitely got some tricks I would like to share, but I think it's essential that we come to a basic formula for how tricks are shared in order to make sure nobody's time is wasted, and people know right away if they have the tools of course if the sound it can achieve is one that they are looking for
Hello all, I thought I would share a fun little piece that focuses on the SWAM Soprano Sax as well as the Double Bass. By the way, the Double Bass in this song is being run through an Amp simulator for a grungy styled sound.
Hi all, just wanted to say to the AM team, love the new web site, and a BIG thank you for all the hard work you all do to create the best instruments on the market!
So I thought I'd share (if it's OK with the Admin) a new piece which uses the SWAM Bari sax. This piece is from a forth coming album of mine that will have a Pink Floyd vibe to it. It is called "Gettin' Me Down" and uses the SWA
